ZOOLIGHTS at the Calgary Zoo

The zoo’s winter light walk turns 30: nightly from Nov. 13, 2026 to Jan. 3, 2027.

ZOOLIGHTS runs nightly from November 13, 2026 to January 3, 2027, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., with last admission at 9 p.m. It is closed December 25 and open on New Year’s Eve. This is the event’s 30th year. Animal buildings are closed during ZOOLIGHTS. The West Gate stays closed for construction, so plan to use the main entrance. Daytime visitors who arrive before 1 p.m. can stay on into the lights; later arrivals need the zoo’s combo ticket. Tickets and timed entry are on the zoo’s ZOOLIGHTS page.
