Lions Festival of Lights
Calgary’s big free light display turns 40, at Confederation Park Golf Course from Nov. 21.
The 40th Lions Festival of Lights fills Confederation Park Golf Course with volunteer-built displays. Opening night is Saturday, November 21, 2026, with the lights on at 5 p.m. After that they run nightly from 5:30 p.m. to midnight until January 8, 2027. Admission is free. The display is at 14 Street NW and 24 Avenue NW.
