EMMEDIA Gallery & Production Society

Artist-run media-art exhibitions, screenings and hands-on workshops in Calgary’s Sunalta neighbourhood.

EMMEDIA Gallery & Production Society is a non-profit artist-run organization supporting the production and presentation of media art. Its Calgary space brings together exhibitions, moving-image and sound work, technical facilities and practical artist training. Visit at 2005 10 Avenue SW. Office and gallery hours are Tuesday–Saturday, noon–6 p.m.; workshop registration and event-specific times are listed separately. The current exhibitions Arboreal Intuitions by Erika Jean Lincoln and Oooooo (sing together and you will make a perfect circle) by Kat Hartog run through October 31, 2026. Upcoming learning opportunities include a three-session introduction to Blender, creative compositing in After Effects and an analog-video workshop. Register through EMMEDIA’s official event links. Equipment rental pick-up and drop-off must be arranged with its technical team; gallery hours are not a rental reservation.
