Calgary International Bluesfest
Blues on Calgary stages: an annual summer festival at The Confluence, plus concerts, workshops and community programming presented by the Calgary Blues Music Association.
Calgary International Bluesfest brings blues music and related traditions to Calgary through festival performances, concerts, workshops and community programming. It is presented by the Calgary Blues Music Association (CBMA), a registered charity incorporated in 2005 to preserve, foster and present blues music and musicians. The annual summer festival takes place at The Confluence, 750 9 Avenue SE. CBMA also presents concerts, Walk Through Blues History, Blues in the Schools and music workshops throughout the year. Those performances use their own venues: check each event for its address, times and tickets. The 2026 festival ran July 30–August 2, with festival-week programming beginning July 27. Those dates are historical; the official site has not yet announced the next summer festival dates. Use the events page for upcoming performances and the official ticket portal for current availability. Administrative mailing address: #188, 6433a Bowness Road NW, Calgary, AB T3B 0E6. This is for correspondence, not a festival entrance or concert venue.
