Steven Pong, researcher with the School of Industrial Design, Carleton University; KITE Research Institute, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, University Health Network will discuss his recent research-creation project, CrossCraft Pattern System. This collaborative project, involving researchers and makers from four academic institutions in Ontario and Alberta, considers how traditional craft techniques can be transformed into new visual and structural pattern systems in contemporary design.  The exhibition, CrossCraft Pattern Systems, is on display on the 5th floor (north end) of the Taylor Family Digital Library until December 5, 2026.
